Recessed lighting can be powered either using household current via a low voltage transformer, or through solar powered fixtures. Either way, recessed lighting systems are easy to install. They use a 4 watt bulb and are designed to be flush mounted in a flat bottom hole with 7/8'' center through hole for wiring base. Use a 3-1/8'' Saw Tooth Bit (#44891) and 7/8'' spade bit (#36827) to install this light in a matter of minutes. 12 volt transformer and wire are sold separately on this kit.
